Project summary

The problem that focussed us on making project in this regard was the attractiveness of the training given to improve basic mathematical skills in the pre-school period and the inadequacy of the projects built on this field. There will never be a more appropriate environment to recognize the fun and beautiful face of mathematics, as math fear / anxiety has not yet developed in the pre-school period. Opportunities should be given in order to support children's development in this direction, so that they can investigate their interests and see the cause and effect relation. In our project we aim to provide quality and amusing mathematics education to 900 children by increasing the capacity of the content knowledge skills of 35 teachers from 6 countries within 2 years and to make children love maths by integrating mathematics into science, games, art music and nature subjects and to raise awareness in pre-school mathematics projects. We will experience unforgettable moments together with maths into fun activities so that children can solve problems they encounter in their daily lives, be successful in other disciplines, and develop high-level thinking skills. Because education and care systems for young children are different in all countries. We collaborate on a high quality, fun and accessible mathematics education. Objectives: - create practical knowledge that can be applied to preschool math by combining practical and theoretical mathematics -to ensure that practical mathematical presentation skills are acquired through sharing of collaborative and innovative practices in club activities created by the teachers using the holistic learning method to provide positive attitudes towards mathematics and to achieve success in advanced academic skills, to improve self-esteem in club activities in which students participate voluntarily -To enable parents to recognize the importance of the development of math skills in early childhood education. to raise awareness of the pre-school mathematics projects results: project logo, project corner, 5 project clubs, science news bulletins, traditional math games, rhythm exercises, fun math activity plans book, questionnaires, reports. We will use application station, exhibition, science festival, website, eTwinning project, social networks, press releases, project calendar and hand brochures for the dissemination of our project. In order to use practical and theoretical relationships throughout our project, we adopt student centered holistic learning approach, understanding, thinking, associating and aiming to use knowledge that is aimed at creativity. The answer we seek in holistic education is that the child realizes herself and carries herself to the future. Long-term impact of our project: Children will have positive outcomes in their future lives with the development of math skills, Investment in preschool education of vital importance will be an investment in the future workforce and economy of the country. This cooperation based on experience, sharing and information transfer will contribute to institutional and social growth. It will help children develop their own development and increase their learning motivation. The success that comes with pre-school mathematics will enable us to have a dynamic and changeable student. Final report summary

The problem that made us focus on making the project in this regard was the attractiveness of the training given to improve basic mathematical skills in the pre-school period and the inadequacy of the projects built in this field. Since the fear/anxiety of mathematics has not yet developed in the pre-school period, there will never be a more appropriate environment to get to know the fun and beautiful face of mathematics. Preschool children are curious, inquisitive, and imaginative. In this project, we provided opportunities for children to investigate, quench their curiosity, and see the cause-and-effect relationship to support their development in this direction. In our project, thirty-five teachers from six countries provided quality and entertaining math education to 900 children by increasing the practical knowledge source to be used in preschool math teaching and the capacity of their teachers' mathematical content knowledge reflection skills in two years and we made the children love maths by integrating it into science, games, art, music, and nature. We also created awareness in preschool math projects. We have had unforgettable moments together by incorporating mathematics into fun activities so that children can solve problems they encounter in their daily lives, be successful in other disciplines and develop high-level thinking skills. Since education and care systems for young children differ in all countries, we've collaborated for a high-quality, fun, and accessible math education. Objectives: - We created a practical knowledge source to be applied in preschool mathematics by combining practical and theoretical mathematics. -We provided teachers to gain practical mathematics presentation skills in the classroom by sharing collaborative and innovative practices in club activities created using the holistic learning method. -We provided positive attitudes towards mathematics and success in advanced academic skills in the club activities in which the students participated voluntarily and improved their self-confidence. -We enabled families to realize the importance of developing math skills in early childhood education. -We raised awareness of preschool math projects. Project Results: project logo, project corner, 5 project clubs, 2 science magazines, math games and rhythm exercises DVDs, fun math activity plans book, concrete math teaching materials, math concept flash cards. Project dissemination ways: station application, online exhibition, science fair, website, eTwinning project, social networks, press releases, project calendar and brochures, seminars. Project evaluation tools: Parent satisfaction surveys, student development forms, teacher mobility evaluation surveys, LLT meeting reports, project term reports, eTwinning European quality label, webinar. Throughout our project, in order to use practical and theoretical interest together, we applied the holistic learning approach in the project clubs, where the student is centered, the experiencing, understanding, thinking, associating, and creativity are targeted, and the purpose of using knowledge is pursued. The answer we sought in holistic education was the child's self-realization and carrying himself to the future. The Long-term impact of our project: Children acquired positive results in their future lives with the development of their mathematical skills. The investment in preschool education will provide beneficial consequences to the country's future workforce and economy. This cooperation based on experience sharing and knowledge transferring contributed to institutional and social growth. It helped the children's development and increased their motivation to learn.
