Project summary

The project develops and deepens the ongoing successful cooperation of NGOs POIKA (AT) and NESEHNUTÍ in the field of gender-sensitive education. Since the Gender-sensitive approach to youth work is one of the basic prerequisites for their development towards democratic culture and mutual respect and, at the same time, this area is not sufficiently reflected in terms of methodology and educational materials, we want to create an innovative gender-sensitive methodology RELATIONSHIPS WITHOUT VIOLENCE for young people. During the methodology forming process we will make use of the experience and the strategic partnership of NESEHNUTÍ and POIKA organisation, we will also engage young people and teachers from our target group in the organisation of individual workshops and subsequently also in the workshop lecturing (similar to peer to peer programmes). During the project, we will produce a total of 5 intellectual outputs that will be freely disseminated among the broad audience and relevant actors in the field. There will be two mobilities, one for lecturers, youth workers and experts, the other with the participation of young people who will be involved in the development of the methodology. At the end of the project there the BarCamp will take place in Brno, where the final methodology will be presented and where we offer for participants a number of lectures, workshops, space for networking and experience-sharing.
