Objectives

The aim of this project is that teachers expand their knowledge in a foreign language and that they have the opportunity to get immersed in a European culture and its language. So that CLIL lessons can be offered and that pupils get an insight into the EU from first-hand experiences.

Background

As our school is an European Union Ambassador School and due to our internationalisation school targets it is very important for our school that pupils are trained and educated how important the EU is for their future education and career. This can be only achieved if also the teachers have a profound knowledge of and a positive attitude towards the EU and its member countries. Thus participating in EU projects such as taking part in a language course can help to achieve these goals. Moreover pupils in our school can attain the EBBD certificate. For those students our school has to provide lessons like Business administration, International Business and other subjects in English, the so called CLIL lessons.
