Objectives

Our students should be encouraged to gain work experience abroad, but there is still a lot of restraint. Mobility in Europe is still not a priority in schools, and the promotion of multilingualism in school education in Austria is being pushed back, since digitization is currently the top priority in Austria. The aim is now to strengthen cooperation with a partner school and partner companies in Italy (Trento) and France and to exchange information in the field of digitization better. Of course, we also see it as a goal to make a contribution to European integration with the project. From our point of view this is very important and we will continue our work to enable our students this opportunity and will always encourage them to take the step towards Europe.

Background

The project was carried out to enable our students to complete their compulsory internship in other EU countries. The aim behind this is for the young people to become cosmopolitan and to understand and accept other cultures. In addition, language skills should be expanded and improved. The young people acquire many skills at the internship companies, which are becoming increasingly important in a globalized world, strengthen their social and intercultural skills and gain experience with new working methods and rules of conduct. We want to ensure that the students carry the EU idea within them and act as a positive reinforcer for students who are not yet sure whether they want to do their internship abroad. This project enables young people to travel and discover the world, including those who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
