Objectives

The aim of the project was to offer the students of the commercial academy the opportunity to make contacts with other (European) countries. A major reason for this is that the Austrian economy depends on trade relations with the other EU countries and valuable connections can therefore be made. Furthermore, EXPERTISE 2019 should promote the natural communication and cooperation of our students in the working language English. Due to the fact that return visits from the college in Scotland are also planned, there will be an even more sustainable cross-border cooperation. Unfortunately, all goals and plans with regard to the Job Shadowing and the return visits could not be carried out as planned due to the pandemic.

Background

The EXPERTISE 2019 project was carried out as a follow-up project with the already known partner, the New College Lanarkshire, in order to offer other students of the BHAK Wolfsberg the opportunity to offer work experience during a two-week stay in Glasgow.
