What goals do we want to achieve? The responsible persons of all involved areas of the VHS Vienna will receive the results of the mobilities in the form of feasibility studies. These studies are based on new educational offers for all areas of VHS Vienna, digital innovations and new working approaches/improvement possibilities.
The VHS Vienna has developed a digitisation strategy comprising several measures: - The digitisation staff unit was newly established in 2018. - A comprehensive digitalisation concept was presented in autumn 2018. - The distribution of 25,000 VR glasses throughout Vienna is the outwardly visible sign of bringing the digital world into the home. With this application, we want to trigger a European push for further education. The call for participation was addressed to all of the approximately 1,000 employees and the approximately 4,000 freelance course instructors (KL) of the VHS Vienna. We would like to find new solutions for digital learning and teaching in Europe, get to know them within the framework of learning mobility and incorporate them into our institution.
