We live in the Age of Plastic. It’s cheap and practical, and it’s everywhere – even in our blood. But is it a danger to us? On 24 October 2018, the EU Parliament adopted a directive on the containment of plastic, which is to be implemented by the member states in the upcoming years. Our aim ist to discuss the perils of plastic to our environment and expose the truth of how plastic affects our bodies and the health of future generations. Further main targets of this Youth Exchange are: - To motivate our participants to start a process of critical thinking and analysing - To build and enhance friendships of young people with different nationalities and cultural backgrounds - To build a basis for a European Unionship - To strengthen independent thinking and acting in order to develop a strong sense of responsibility. - To deepen the German language skills of the participants. - To find a sense of belonging in the context of sports and leisure activities.
