Objectives

Changes favor only those who are prepared for it, said Louis Pasteuer. The digitization of life has made our world smaller and we want to prepare the youth for the future. Our objective is to get input from the Erasmus + Youth Exchange Program: Improving the key competences of young people with the partiality of marginalized people, a good opportunity for them in the sheltered environment and surrounded by young people who avoid contempt. They will be fully integrate into the whole project. Through the project: Glocalise. think globally, act locally, we want to be able to better control the new media technologies of and with the young people, thereby expanding digital skills. We also want to inform young people about current developments in social networks and their legal situation. The participants are pupils or students who will not all find a job in their home or their surroundings. A comparison between the local and global development of the economy, which also brings with it the cultural changes and perceptions, makes them fit for a good decision, or a competent approach to living in the new receiving countries where they will study or work. Therefore, through our activities and evaluation of the learning process, we also want to promote the active citizenship and intercultural dialogue as well as social inclusion and solidarity. Their participation in shaping Europe is necessary, whether they stay in their homeland or live abroad. The activities and exercises, together with professionals well versed in the media and digital tools, will improve the quality of youth work and the visibility of the Erasmus + program in partner countries and disseminate European fundamental values. Youth quickly learns the language of society, any information can reach them in no time, but they must develop new skills so that they do not give credibility to fake news and immediately recognize and avoid any form of radicalization. Through the distribution of young people throughout Europe, they, and we too, the youth workers, come into contact with several countries. In this case, this mobility program of meeting young people also gives our project an international character. Collaboration between youth organizations and associations has improved in recent years and this benefits the main actors of youth exchanges. Regional, national and international cooperation will be expanded and the quality of youth work will be visibly increased. Young people with fewer opportunities can also inform themselves in our project, exchange ideas without obstacles and expand their intercultural competence, better evaluate the influence of the digital world on their microcosm and macrocosm, and successfully use it and also apply it for their professional development. The other participants learn to deal with their socially disadvantaged colleagues, involve them in every activity, and in addition to a solid European consciousness, expand media literacy and develop healthy social behavior. Our 12-day youth exchange in Pulkau as part of the Erasmus + program offers non-formal and sustainable learning and new intellectual and practical skills through workshops, outdoor activities, interactive games, discussions and role-playing games, as well as exercises in new media technology. The Austrian participants are happy to get to know new cultures and customs, for the local population our Erasmus + project offers the most beautiful European days of the year, according to the mayor of Pulkau.
