We have many expectations regarding this project: First of all, each European mobility should increase the practical skills of trainers/ pedagogical experts and supervisors who benefit from the Erasmus+ mobility activities. The (in)formal meetings and the exchange of tools and experiences give participants the opportunity to develop their skills in a lifelong learning perspective. Then, we want to develop new approaches at educational, methodological, and behavioural levels. We also want to analyse and adapt, on the one hand, the training service offer according to the observations and the meetings (development of “sustainable” approaches, impacted by emerging and digital technologies) and on the other hand, the training practices and methods of staff members by searching modern and innovative techniques, and using new training and sharing tools. The exchanges could allow the reorganization, the review or even the creation of some training sessions. Finally, European mobility is an efficient way to develop inter-institutional collaborations between trainers / pedagogical experts and supervisors belonging to the same sectors.
The ITINERIS project is carried out in a context of continuing vocational education and training (C-VET) for trainers and pedagogical experts of the main public actors in the field of vocational training in the Belgian French-speaking part. A consortium of partners has been set up to provide a common project and to allow the pooling of resources and encourage the sharing and the capitalisation of achievements reached during the mobility projects. The goal of ITINERIS is to develop new skills in these sectors by observing and / or participating in training action plans on new methods, tools, and pedagogical and didactic approaches in relevant sectors. The target groups of this project are the following: trainers, pedagogical advisors and experts, and supervisors. The expected impact is to professionalise the target group, expand the practices, and therefore, adapt training sessions and skills for trainees and learners, but also jobseekers or workers (ultimate beneficiaries) considering the methodological, technical, and digital evolution in the sector.
