The main objective was to improve the professional skills of the learners by strengthening their practical learning but also by discovering new techniques, new know-how. To this is added, of course, the development of their softskills, their openness to each other, their autonomy. We also wanted, through mobility, to strengthen our contacts with our existing partners and develop new partnerships to expand our European network. This last objective was unfortunately not very conclusive. On the basis of allocated budgets and hosting opportunities, the mobilities were mainly realized by individual mobilities in total immersion in the professional life of the host company. For the preparatory visits, the reception and the exchanges were positive but did not make it possible to realize a real mobility project for the learners afterwards and this for practical reasons (travel conditions or the structure and organisation of the host host).
This project has continued the Centre’s European mobility activities since the 1990s. Our objective was to offer a certain number of our learners the opportunity of an internship abroad, mainly in a company, in order to improve their field of training; to discover new techniques and skills while opening up to Europe, cultural diversity and the other in general. The Alter&Go 2019 project was based on two objectives: to sustain existing mobility projects and to develop new partnerships. However, with Covid having passed through, we had to adapt and change the plans in the initial application.
