Goals for teachers with a view to European citizenship: Promoting : * a European network between teachers from the EU to participate in exchanges. * teachers' experience, recognition and recognition of the 'other' as European citizens. * the resilience of our teachers and how they contribute to living together on the European territory. * implementing innovative forms of education among our teachers to deal with the strong diversity in our school in an open way.
Internationalization is part of the general policy of GO! schoolgroup Antwerp and our school. In our development plan, innovative education is one of our priorities. Internationalization is a means for us to focus on professionalising both school policy and our teachers. We wanted to use art as a sublimating factor to open up difficult themes for discussion. Within the framework of "learning to live together" we focus on an interfaith dialogue and a base of shared basic values, we design sustainable projects that promote key competences, participation, civic responsibility and self-directed learning of students. Finally, we want to use various art forms as a sublimating factor to make difficult themes open for discussion on the one hand, and to make other general subjects such as science and mathematics illustrative and connecting on the other.
