The goals we set are threefold: * For the pupils: To develop competencies such as tolerance, entrepreneurship, etc. But strongly linked to the international character of the projects are language and ICT competencies. Gaining experience in working in an international context. This increases our pupils' chances in a globalising labour market. It will make them lifelong learners. Developing subject competencies. * for the teachers: Supervising pupils during international projects often bring new, deeper cooperation between pupils and teachers. This way, teachers can help pupils develop their talents even better. * For parents: At our school, many parents do not have the possibility to let their children travel and experience the world. As a school, we believe that Erasmus+ projects can help ALL our pupils to experience Europe and become better citizens. Our experience is that parents become more involved in school life due to international projects. We want to strengthen this.
At Talentenschool Turnhout, we aim to allow all students to develop their full potential. This way, our students are well prepared for further study or the labour market. Specifically for the students who go to the labour market after our school, we want to organise their internships in a qualitative and lifelike way. This gives them an extra advantage when applying for jobs. Experience abroad is an added value here. That is why we applied for this project. It gives us the opportunity to offer our students work placements abroad in a financially feasible and high-quality way.
