Promoting the further professionalisation of teachers. This by applying good practices from the previous project in an active internship. We wanted to achieve this with the implementation of the project: - Lifelong Learning: Stimulate European thinking, by teaching in another European country to improve our teaching techniques. - Further develop social and cultural skills. It is necessary to be able to work together with people from other ethnic, social and cultural backgrounds, therefore we stay with host families. - Innovative work is a must in education. The globalisation of society also makes teaching go beyond our own classroom, our own school, our own country. - Language skills: Globalisation also means that language is becoming increasingly important in our society. - New cooperation techniques mean that closer contacts will be made between different schools. In this way, we want to promote further internationalisation.
Our previous Erasmus project was a job-shadowing in Aubenas and this was mainly an observation of the classroom, an introduction to the French education system and an awakening of our European feeling. The reason why we applied for this file was that we were going to apply the learned techniques ourselves. Under the motto of "lifelong learning", teaching in another country where a different education system is used was the ideal place to acquire new insights and techniques. Professionalisation is essential to keep up with today's education system, as well as to be able to participate in an innovative society. Innovation within the classroom, in the school, and across the school is essential. Since we have now put the good practices into practice ourselves with the help of guidance from the local subject teachers, we were able to gain an insight into the teaching techniques, the involvement of pupils and the stimulation of the pupils' enjoyment of learning by applying the technique ourselves. By actively participating ourselves, our European feeling was stimulated even more. This was also a motivation for our pupils to sign up for Erasmus placements.
