We found out that this traineeshiop had a motivating effect for our students from our Vocational Department. They have to attend school one year longer than their peers in order to obtain the diploma of secondary education. It provides the necessary variety and we want to offers them a challenge and hope they will accept this Hopefully they will be able to open up their minds again to other cultures, systems and methods so that they can acquire knowledge and new skills in an exciting way and raise the level of their foreign language skills. They will experience what it means to live and learn together in another country of the European Community. We wanted to keep and expand the positive vibe created by the previous project. In the past 'the fear of the unknown' paralyzed their self-confidence to such an extent that they did not want to take advantage of these opportunities. With this project application, we wanted to continue to place the main emphasis on the internship . But we now wanted to expand and spread this vertically and horizontally. This means that we wanted to try to inspire our colleagues and the internship supervisors. We also want to offer our members of the secretary department the opportunity to look across the border and look for examples of good practices there. We offered our language teachers the opportunity to immerse themselves again and to participate in the Lycée de la Providence for a limited period of time, who were happy to participate in this and open their institute for this
With this project we have set ourselves 2 main goals: We wanted to immerse our students in the French language. which is not obvious for students of a vocational education. After all, they will enter the labor market within a few months and we hope that this internship experience will give them an extra asset when applying for a job We wanted to expand and consolidate the acquired knowledge. On the other hand, we also wanted to give other members of our school team the opportunity to gain international experience. This time we wanted to involve the secretariat and language and other teachers . By expanding the team and sharing the European experience, we hope to make this project even stronger so that it would be embedded in the curricular of the students. Many cross-curricular attainment targets could be achieved with this internship. Anyway, we hope that after this internship the students will have gained on independence and self-confidence. We hope it will be an enriched experience for them that they never will forget.
