Mediterranean cuisine uses specific cooking appliances. The students get more responsibilities and can grow in the kitchen brigade. * Teachers Expand their professional knowledge and skills Gain insight and can make a comparative study between the training and the approach on the work floor. Stedelijk Onderwijs deliberately opts for world citizenship. By offering Erasmus+ traineeships, the school wants to give students and teachers the opportunity to acquire skills within their field of study in Europe. Internationalisation gives students and teachers the chance to broaden their horizons and to apply what they have learned in new learning environments abroad. They get the chance to further develop their professional competences, as well as acquiring "international competences". The teachers are able to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the school environment. Cooperating with international partners in educational programmes stimulates forward-looking and innovative work and contributes to maximum development opportunities for every learner. By entering into international collaborations, we can also profile ourselves as an innovative school outside Flanders. Internationalisation as part of our educational project promotes integration in society. These projects are not an end in themselves, but a means to achieve the attainment targets and development goals. We explore and stimulate talents and competences in a broader learning and living environment beyond our own borders.
