With the project we wanted to achieve an improvement of intercultural and social competences: through the exchange with other young people and colleagues in the internship companies, the intercultural and social competences of the participants are promoted. The young people also got a better feeling for the topic of mobility. They were able to get a taste of "living in a city" and learned how to cope with a wide variety of public transport means. This promoted their independence. Finally, the learners, but also the education staff, have also broadened their professional competence. Through the contact with other working methods, tools and technologies, a broadening of professional competences was achieved.
This project enables the participants to develop their professional/technical but also social competences in a new environment. Both learners and staff members benefit greatly from participating in the project as they develop/acquire qualities that are highly important for today's labour market (independence, adaptability, openness, resilience).
