Objectives

With the project we wanted to improve intercultural and social skills: through the exchange with other young people and colleagues in the internship companies and during the seminars, the intercultural and social skills of the participants have been promoted. The students also got a better feel for the topic of mobility. They were able to sniff the city air and learned to cope with a wide range of public transport. This promoted their independence. Ultimately, the apprentices as well as the educational staff have also expanded their professional competence. Through contact with other working methods, tools and technologies, an expansion of professional competences was achieved.

Background

The implementation of this project enables the participants to further develop their professional/technical but also social skills in an unfamiliar environment. Both learners and staff members benefit greatly from project participation, as by participating they develop/gain qualities that are of great importance for today's job market (independence, adaptability, openness, resilience).
