We want the young people to ask themselves more questions than there are answers. We would like to encourage them to deal more with the topic of Europe. We want them to cross their own borders and gain new experiences. But we also want to convey the feeling that it can be exciting and enriching if they get involved with new people and learn new methods of working together. We have two big goals with this project. One is to help younger young people, who have never had the opportunity to participate in a international youth exchange, to impart new experiences and thus also help them to look beyond their own horizons. A second goal is that they think about the borders of Europe. Europe is becoming more and more blocked - the external border of the EU is to be guarded even more closely. What does it mean for them to experience borders in Europe - what does it mean not to be able to cross borders and where does it mean to demarcate Europe and what does it mean to open borders. Don't we also have our own borders that we can overcome and what does it do to us when we overcome borders? This "personal border experience" which they will experience in the medium of theatre should also give them more self-confidence and strengthen them to question more in today's society - than just to accept everything.
