Objectives

The Abbey of Averbode in Belgium is our point of observation: 16-18 year old younsters point their attention to worldly themes: 1) Nature, Culture, Climate & Peace 2) Technology 3)Spirituality 4) Identity & Society. They ask questions: how do I experience globalised (city-)life? How is it to be online all the time? What do we do with artificiel intelligence? Do I have/want a spiritual life? What choices do I make? What identity suits me best? Workshops, sessions and debates throughout the project on each of these themes will bring clarity on how youngsters experience life, identity and diversity. Italian, Spanish, German, Irish, Slovakian and Belgian youngsters gather to share ideas about these themes and they will search for tools that empower them in making (future) choices in this diverse society.
