The implementation of the planned activities of the project would have led to the upgrading of the professional competences of the teaching staff in the field of agriculture and catering; improvement of the language and digital competences of the staff of the RIO and the PGs; increase of the capacity of the teaching staff to provide practical lessons and to liaise with the business; learning of innovative methods and tools for the implementation of the teaching process; increase of the capacity of the teaching staff to work in international environment especially French educational institutions. The observation of the learning activities carried out in the host organisation and the exchange of experience with the French partners would have had a positive impact on the professional and key competences of the teachers. The integration of digital teaching methods, the inclusion of more interactive resources and the increased focus on practical activities would have modernised the learning process and contributed to the modernisation of the curricula. The RIO would have had innovative approaches to implement organisational and methodological support and assertive control in the VET schools in the territory of Stara Zagora district.
We have applied for the Bon Ami project - "Exchange of experience and adoption of good methodological practices in the field of agriculture and catering", in order to carry out mobility of teaching staff in Bordeaux (France) aiming at observation, exchange of experience and integration of innovative methods in the implementation of the learning process. The project was initiated in accordance to the needs and areas of improvement of the educational process identified by the members of the established mobility consortium, in particular: the need to update the professional competences of the staff; the need to upgrade the key competences of the teaching professionals; the need to establish sustainable international partnerships; the need to improve the quality of VET by developing the professional skills of the teachers and applying the new teaching methods and tools learned in the learning processes; the need to update curricula to be more practically oriented, as well as the need to enhance the attractiveness of VET and increase student motivation.
