Objectives

We create the project proposal with three main priorities: - To impact the direct target group consisting of young people from 4 European countries by creating conditions, in which they become more aware, with more specific knowledge and more social experience in relation to ethnic, racial and religious minorities; - To address the indirect target group, namely ethnic, racial and religious minorities within the four European countries. To achieve this goal, we are including representatives of various minorities within the EU, and ensure a broad dissemination of the results of the exchange activities, also among the majorities; - To implement an exchange project in Bulgaria, where young citizens of 4 European countries will meet and experience being part of a multinational, multicultural, multilingual and multi religious environment, as well as a week of doing worthwhile, creative and fun several learning-by-doing activities. The main goals meant to be achieved throughout the project are as follows: - In-depth analysis of all member countries' actions and methods of active integration and inclusion of racial, ethnic and religious minorities in participating, through which the participants will start off better informed about the main matters. Empirical data and personal stories will be exchanged, - All participants together generate ideas for new activities to address specific minority issues, e.g.: * primary and secondary segregation of children and teenagers with a minority background at school and high school, * language specifics of minorities and how this affects the social inclusion of people from minorities, * civic engagement among minority representatives, * expectations and prejudices society has towards racial, ethnic and religious minorities, * migration and minorities. - To include all participants in the selection of topics, activities and methods of conducting the activities, - To include all participants in the leading and management of the project, - To form unified national teams of diverse and motivated participants, involving at least 1 marginalized participant, - To encourage a sense of equity networking between marginalized young people and young people in a beneficial social situation, - To provide young people with fewer opportunities with an opportunity to participate in this project by a fair selection procedure, - To assess Analyze the capacity of digital technologies to promote an equal start for young people, - To evaluate possible risks posed by social networks and mass-media for young people of ethnic and racial minorities, - To address formal and non-formal education ("learning by doing" techniques) as a method of integration, - To promote further public engagement among all participants in the project, as well as all target groups of the project dissemination.
