Objectives

The "Different but together" project is provoked by the extremely dynamic situation in Europe, the Middle East and the Balkans. In recent years, the ethnic and political map of Europe has changed very rapidly as a result of a series of unprecedented events in the history of Paris, London, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, provoked by conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, unprecedented in terms of their size and intensity of refugee wave. The above issues have contributed to the creation and development of a wave of aggression, intolerance and violence among young people. For these reasons, our organization decided to organize an urgent awareness raising campaign to promote positive image and tolerance towards people from different ethnic, political, religious, social and geographic contexts. The increasing levels and forms of discrimination, aggression, xenophobia and intolerance, violence among young people based on ethnic or religious principles, the difficulties encountered in their everyday life due to clash of cultures, the lack of life skills in a multicultural environment and the construction of unnecessary habits that turn into sustainable behavior are part of the reasons and main motives for developing this project. These problems are typical of young people from both countries. The need to change this way of life is one reason why young people should be involved in youth exchanges. Through the activities he will teach them to understand more of other cultures and to respect differences in all their variations. The structure of the work program will help achieve the goal of raising awareness of cultural diversity and their sensitivity to social inclusion, tolerance and acceptance issues. We believe that addressing the issue should address several key factors such as the anonymity of modern society, the destruction of social ties, the change in values, the racial and ethnic intolerance of the media and society, etc. The main objective of the project is to combat aggression, the language of hatred and the radicalization of young people in Europe by promoting tolerant behavior, intercultural dialogue and exploring different cultures and religions. Targets: • Promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding between young people living in Europe who belong to different social and cultural backgrounds; • Promoting respect for cultural diversity and combating racism and xenophobia; • Preventing aggression, violence and intolerance between young people, through non-formal education and cultural diversity; • Understand the processes of migration and realize its benefits for Europe; • Promoting non-formal learning as a tool for strengthening values and provoking youth activity at the local level. • Raising participants' awareness of European programs and development opportunities. By achieving the goals described, we will show young people the robbing and limiting force of prejudices, prejudices and stereotypes, reducing their negative impact on behavior and life, promoting moral and value system, friendship, understanding, tolerance. Empathy and multicultural cooperation.
