Our school is open to the exchange of knowledge and experience through European collaborations and teacher mobilities, with the ultimate goal to improve the teaching process and maximizing the learning results. The challenge on which we focused our action in our school was based on the triptych: 1. Utilization of previous knowledge and experience regarding the use of digital technologies in teaching for the application of the 4 C's, 2. Functional linkage of our digital expertise on developing the language and math proficiency of our students 3. The simultaneous focus on the 4C’s skills would facilitate the pursuit of acquisitions, beyond the basic level of cognitive skills.
Our school has been involved in the specific project with the aim of strengthening the professional training of teachers around the application of the 4C's in the teaching practice (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication). These competences are regarded as essential for the development of the future citizen, one that will be able to use critical thinking and through working in collaboration with others, would be able to find a creative sollution for a problem. The school wanted to utilize at the same time knowledge that was created from the participation in other Erasmus programmes and especially the digital competencies that the techers have gained in the new area of the 4 C's.
