In the context of upgrading the level of education of the schools, from post-secondary to tertiary, the two schools have implemented a system for detecting administrative training needs, which has shown that it is appropriate to develop programs aimed at: a) the need to upgrade and update the knowledge, skills and abilities of human resources, b) the optimization of their productivity, c) the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the educational services provided and d) the upgrading of the educational services provided. Therefore, in line with their strategic planning, one of their primary objectives is to cooperate with European organisations with the ultimate aim of developing and improving their human resources in the new education environment. Through the project, the participants have been involved in organising collaborative training programmes with their counterparts from German universities/faculties, as relevant research has shown that the development of professional competence is particularly promoted through these programmes, where individuals have the opportunity to discuss, analyse and revise their views.
