According to our school's international strategy goals we try to equal learning opportunities to as many of our students as possible, through their participation regardless of their financial or social background, culture ethnicity and learning or physical disabilities. Since we are a secondary vocational training school many of our students, after graduating, may decide to study or even work abroad. An additional reason for applying for this project is that Erasmus plus offers some of the participants the opportunity, to have a small taste of being a student for a period of time in a higher educational institution, and to others the opportunity of working abroad (placement). It also provides the opportunity to every participant to make friends from all over the world, friendships that in many cases can last a lifetime. Participating in a such projects gives the participants the opportunity to be more independent from the bonds of their family since for most of them, it is their first time away from home and at the same time allowing them to feel the responsibility of working as a team (teamwork).
