The context in which the training was designed is based on the need of the partners to improve the services they offer to disadvantaged young people. Youth workers need to specialise. Not only must they improve their skills, they must specialize in specific activities adapted to the needs of disadvantaged youth. Each of the partner organisations in this project works with different categories of disadvantaged youth. Depending on the category and local context, the activities implemented by youth workers must be adapted. The motivation to carry out this training course comes from needs identified at the level of the partners involved. These needs were observed from the daily work, activities and practices each of the partners is implementing with youth, in particular with youngsters with fewer opportunities. The two main needs on which this project is based are intercorrelated: the need to have better prepared youth workers and the need to offer a high-quality youth work that is tailored to the characteristics of the targeted youth with fewer opportunities. The partner organisations have identified the need to have better prepared youth workers as the youth worker profession development does not follow rigorous standards. The international Training Courses like the one proposed in the current application are ones of the most important experiences for professional development that the youth workers benefit. We have to consider that the partner organisations are youth organisations, therefore they have limited amounts of funding which they can invest in development of activities for their target group. They cannot afford to pay expensive trainings for the professional development of their human resources such as the youth workers (these programs can cost up too few hundred of euros). As well, practice has shown us that a youth worker has a variety of competences and is multi developed on different areas. The project plans to help partner organisations to better prepare youth workers to face the challenges they have in their activities with disadvantaged young people. The objective of the project is to improve non-formal education activities offered to young people from disadvantaged groups by partner organisations. The objectives of the project are as follows: 1. Assimilation of 10 new non-formal education methods specific to working with disadvantaged young people by 24 youth workers from 8 countries during an eight-day training course 2. Improving facilitation skills in the field of non-formal education for disadvantaged young people by the 24 youth workers participating in the course 3. Create at least 6 new methods and/or strategies for working with disadvantaged young people, tailored to the specific needs present in the communities of origin of the participants at the mobility
