Getting our school involved in the project Erasmus+ KA2 led to closer cooperation with a partner school in Spain aiming reciprocal sending of pupils to internships. This cooperation has shown interest of school in sending pupils for other internships and our school was thinking about submitting another application - Mobility for VET learners and staff and was also planning to participate in other projects of European cooperation. It was necessary to prepare our school for these development projects and to prepare pupils participating in European cooperation projects with necessary competences. For high-quality preparation of our pupils was firstly important to increase language and methodical competencies of our teachers (including digital technologies’ knowledge) which also deepened their qualification and professional development. Teachers are subsequently passing their newly acquired knowledge and skills on through teaching to pupils. For possible further international integration we needed well-qualified teachers on European level being able to prepare their pupils both specifically and linguistically not only for internships abroad and European cooperation projects but subsequently for European labour market.
