We submitted the application at a time of change in the school's leadership after almost 30 years. With the arrival of a new headmaster, structural changes in the teaching of our school commenced. The new headmaster is breaking down stereotypical practices and is in favour of Erasmus+ cooperation. Since the beginning of his tenure, the headmaster has promoted proper communication between students and teachers, improving and making teaching more enjoyable, new working and teaching methods and further training of all school staff, teaching in the form of workshops that develop the creativity of our students. The change of school management was linked to the choice of the shadowing activity, which promoted the managerial competences of the new headmaster in a European context. Shadowing was also chosen to support gifted pupils in the field of mathematics and the selection of the school was based on the results of competitions. By engaging in European projects, language skills became a necessity. The vocational courses have supported the improvement of the methodological competences of the teaching staff and the creation of prerequisites for the employment of the school's graduates in the European labour market.
