Our goals were: To improve the following 3 areas: 1. Improve and develop our pupils' poor IT skills and use of IT tools across subjects 2. Extend and creatively apply modern teaching methods to a variety of subjects in both Key Stage 1 and 2 2. Streamline the problematic inclusion - the inclusion of pupils with a wide range of learning disabilities into classroom and after school work 3. Improve the competence of all school staff in teamwork and cooperation We wanted to achieve this in the following way: we looked for partner schools in different European countries with whom we agreed on the possibility of job shadowing in their school and we offered them the same. These were schools with different educational systems and also for different ages of pupils, so that we could cover the whole age range of our school's pupils 6-16 years old.
The main goal of the project was to connect the work of the school psychologist, teaching assistants, school pupils'asostants at primary and secondary level teachers and to enrich their work with modern teaching methods and effective methods aimed at working within the framework of inclusion with pupils with different levels of support measures. The aim was also to implement the school's European plan, which is described in detail in the application. The reason for implementing the shadowing activities was to improve the quality of our school and - Get to know the school system of the country, the organisation of the school, the teaching and the school year, and its operation in order to have a comprehensive picture of the situation - Actively monitor the progress of inclusion (what type of pupils, what types of disorders, class sizes and number of assistants - Conduct observations of teaching methods in classrooms in several subjects of different focus - Participate in and actively engage in foreign language teaching - Take an interest in the job description of the pupils'g assistant, his/her qualifications, forms and methods of work and the support provided by the school - Prepare a presentation of the Czech education system to foreign colleagues, to present, our school and our teaching methods and to discuss them - Monitor the use of modern technologies in teaching and their practical application in individual subjects
