The main goal was the implementation of formative assessment in teaching, improvement of language skills of teachers, improvement of methodological competences of teaching staff, use of modern communication tools, innovation of lesson plans and the document of the school educational program, focus on exchange of ideas and strategies with the help of planning and critical thinking, development of intercultural competencies of teachers and pupils of our school.
To get inspiration for introducing formative assessment (FA) into teaching at our school. We chose this method of teaching because it allows each student to experience success, gives them feedback and at the same time teaches them to give feedback. Based on this, students gain motivation for taking responsibility for their own learning. A side effect of FA is the improvement of communication between teacher and pupil and individual pupils with each other. Another reason was the deepening of international cooperation, thanks to which it will be possible for pupils to have reciprocal stays. Last but not least, the language skills of teachers have been improved.
