We solve a generational problem. Experienced teachers are at retirement age leave and we need to improve language and methodical competences of young teachers and get acquainted with modern teaching methods. We feel the need to respond to the new reality in education, to new trends, methods that mean a shift from an emphasis on knowledge to an emphasis on skills and the application of knowledge. We feel the need to educate pupils more intensively on European values with an emphasis on multiculturalism, a sense of European citizenship and intercultural education. We wanted to strengthen international cooperation. We educate foreigners, the number of pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and pupils with learning and behavior disorders is increasing. We wanted to gain experience at partner schools in order to improve and streamline the integration of pupils.
