Our main objective was the improvement of knowledge and skills in English language with the focus on professional English. Apart the professional development of our teachers we wanted to create teaching materials to be exploited in CAJ. Our further intention was so that the teachers and the office staff would cooperate better within this and next upcoming projects as well. In that we have succeeded as Mrs Hajčiarová, Dostálová and Vočková are currently working with two other European partners on preparation of an application of a KA2 project.
We set the aim as following: to improve the tuition of Professional English since we consider it to be an important issue for our students in terms of their better chances to find a job in the future. We learned a lot from our previous activities such as job-shadowing in Germany and Sweden, moreover we got inspired by cooperation with the bilingual P. J. Šafarik Grammar School during our common KA2 project, we were intrigued by delivering professional subjects in English. This was the reason for our decision to create a project aimed directly to professional English, which is taught at our vocational school within the subject called CAJ.
