The main aim of the project was to improve English language teaching competences and generally the level of English knowledge of teachers teaching English and specialized Economy subjects and the management of the school to prepare them to take part in shadowing and foreign student exchanges. We also aim at our teachers' increasing competences at preparation of our students for international trade fairs, trading of fictional and real student companies, cooperation with foreign partners. We wanted to make new contacts for international students' exchanges, possibility of studies at other european schools and promotion of these. One of the goals of our school is to introduce new motivational and activating methods for English teaching, open new courses of specialised language and create possibilities for our pedagogical staff to participate in life-long learning process in international environment with the goal of becoming a modern, high quality, european institution.
We encourage our emplyees to improve their language competencies. One of the priorities is the knowledge of everyday and specialized foreign language (English), which enables making new contacts with foreign partners, sharing good practice and pedagogical experience. The project gave our teachers and members of the management a chance to study in international environment. The priority of our organisation is engaging in international exchanges of student groups and sharing know-how and experience, setting a higher perception of common European values and subsequent cooperation with partner schools of similar nature. We need to improve our students' specialised subject and English competences, enable our students participation in international project, which can help them in later university studies or at work. Through the project we wanted to achieve radical foreign language improvement of our English teachers. We wanted to improve English level of our specialised Economy subject teachers and members of the management. We aimed at learning new motivational and activating methods for English teaching. We wanted to learn about possibilities of international exchanges of student groups.
