Objectives

At the beginning of the project there was a strong need of improving language competence of the participants. According to improved competence magagement, participant and the coordinator aimed at choosing suitable methodology courses for the participants. Then we could implement the CLIL method in wider range in different levels of the education provided and also implement the CLIL method in the School Curricula Plan. Sharing experience and comparing different management and teaching methods was aimed to gain at job shadowing activities. We had had a few international projects with the pupils before but improving language and teaching methods should have been inspiration for other teachers to join more international projects with the pupils. The organization also expected increase of motivation for further education of the teachers.

Background

We decided to be a part of Erasmus+ KA1 project due to several needs in reinforcement of language and methodology competence of the teachers and the school management. The school has taken part in different international projects with pupils and that is why there was the need of high language competence of the teachers. The implementation of the CLIL method was ment to be set in the School Curricula Plan and wider range of employees dealing with this method was planned too. Job shadowing was ment to provide experience and also gain new experience and observe teaching methods of foreign school systems abroad. We also planned to inspire school employees to join Erasmus+ KA2 projects or progress in getting more teaching experience due to taking part in future mobility projects.
