The goal of the project "Go abroad, you will learn more!" there was an increase in the language knowledge and professional skills of a total of 32 other pupils of the school with a certificate of Cook-waiter, Confectioner, Gardener, Repairer of agricultural machinery and fields with the graduation exam Agribusiness, Business Our students and especially parents are aware of the benefits of completing an internship abroad, which increases the students' motivation to study. Even though covid interfered with the implementation of the project, we managed to send more students to this project than we expected. We also wanted to expand the list of our social partners to include new workplaces, which we succeeded in doing. We managed to strengthen the project implementation team with young teachers who are actively looking for other partners, communicating with them and planning possible future joint activities. And it is also very gratifying that foreign employers have verified the quality of knowledge and professional skills of our pupils. These partners often offer our pupils the implementation of holiday jobs beyond the scope of our project. We are certainly making a good name for our education system. Participants in foreign internships pass on their experience to younger classmates. We inform about our activities in the regional press. We succeed in fulfilling our goal - to increase the attractiveness of the school and the level of graduates.
We have been cooperating with schools and social partners in France and Austria since 2002. Since then, we have implemented several successful Erasmus projects. The opportunity to travel abroad and acquire professional and language skills from foreign employers has been a great motivation for our pupils for many years to study foreign languages and to achieve excellent academic results in order to be selected for this activity. Foreign social partners are very satisfied with our pupils. In the last 2 years (covid), we have found more than 15 other companies and enterprises with which we also cooperate outside the workplaces that provide us with schools in France and Austria. This has expanded our possibilities to send students from all branches of our school on internships and also in different seasons, which is important in e.g. agriculture, horticulture... Not only students, but also their parents appreciate our foreign activities. We have established many personal friendships with the teachers of partner schools, which benefit joint activities. Foreign partners participate in various events of our school - partner days, competitions, exhibitions. Of course, the successful implementation of foreign internships has increased the attractiveness of our school among applicants for education. Our students can present a certificate of foreign experience when looking for a job.
