Objectives

The reason for implementing this project was to fulfil the following objectives: - to increase the professional knowledge of pupils and teachers, - to enrich the current teaching of the school with new methods and practices used abroad, - improving communication in a foreign language (English, German, Italian), - deepening knowledge of working abroad, - improving organisational and administrative skills, - strengthening the project team, - engaging in cooperation with foreign companies, - more cooperation between the school and foreign companies, - greater employability of our graduates.

Background

The main need of our school was to acquire professional practical knowledge from abroad in the field of informatics, automation and robotics, electrical engineering. We want to educate our pupils to become graduates with quality knowledge and experience, so we feel that foreign practice is a great opportunity, that is why we wanted to participate in the Erasmus+ programme. The strategic goal of the school is to build a long-term cross-border cooperation, where the school will be able to get quality foreign partners, so it will continue to send its pupils in the future. In this project we only applied for short-term pupil mobility, but in the future we also plan to use the ErasmusPro programme to send our graduates on placements abroad. Our school also needed to remove the existing language barriers and bring the communication skills of the staff and pupils to a better level. In today's multicultural world, languages are very important as staff and management come from all over Europe. The new internship abroad has strengthened the competence of the project team in international mobility projects.
