Besides above mentioned reasons we intended to fullfil also other goals: to involve our M.D. into carrying out the project and make her and other staff excited concerning other possibilities of international cooperation and activities; include in the project new young colleagues and enable them to get new experience not only with Learners Mobility project but also to participate in Staff Mobility and shadow in similar schools abroad and bring back new ideas and innovative methods of teaching. Another goal was to organise for the students of Public administration branch of study internship in local administration body and meeting with the mayor of Tunbridge Wells in the UK which would make it possible for them to get an insight into the way the local administration is organized in the UK and bring home new ideas and information and thanks to participating in organising various cultural and sport activities for young people and public in the UK make them aware of the necessity to get involved in the life of community in Třinec and prepare and present practical suggestions how to improve involvement of young people in the local administration activities; Further goal was to improve abilities and skills of the participants and employees of our school (from language, professional, "soft" to many others.) With the students we planned to strengthen their independence, responsibility, ability to cope with and to deal with unexpected situations and problems, to communicate in foreign languages at the workplace and outside.
There are several reasons why we decided to apply for Mobility project: based on the previous rich experience with Partnership and Moblitity projects we understand how important it it to improve practical education of our students and enable our students and other staff to participate in internship abroad and thus gain valuable experience which they otherwise could not obtain during internship in Czech companies; another reason is to start cooperation with foreign partners -namely companies where our students work; provide our young colleagues - accompanying persons - with opportunity to observe participants during their internship at the workplaces and also get valuable experience which they can then apply in our organisation and whose effects would later be changes in school educational programmes and in students´ attitude and their work ethic.
