Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to support the members of the consortium in active participation in international projects, gain new foreign partners, gain new knowledge and skills that we wanted to implement in all participating organizations. Joint and key goal was also to increase the competences of the volunteer coordinators / mobility participants themselves. Through mobility and subsequent sharing, they have learned and then used new methods and tools in their organizations for recruiting volunteers, working with volunteers, public relations and cross-border cooperation.
Organization RADKA z.s., the founder of RADKA Volunteer Center, is one of the founding members of the informal association RADA dobrovolnických center regionu Severozápad (The board of volunteer centers in the Northwest region). The aim of this association is to develop volunteering and support volunteer organizations and their coordinators. As part of joint meetings and sharing, we decided to submit a joint project, which gave us a number of benefits. Newly established, smaller or inexperienced organizations could send their representatives abroad, gain experience and get to know potential partners for further cooperation. More experienced organizations became mentors and guides in writing of project applications and in the implementation of the project, gained new foreign partners in other areas of their activities. The creation of the consortium and the joint submission of the project was a great benefit to all its members, participants in the mobilities and other members of the RADA DC SZ, with whom we shared the outputs from the individual mobilities.
