We live in a modern age characterized by speed, innovation and an emphasis on development and sustainability. The field of addiction is very specific. Working with people with addictions is demanding, long-term, complex and often painful. Support for international cooperation, practical learning, transfer of knowledge and sharing of good practices is one of our plans to prevent the development of burnout syndrome, isolation and support the personal and professional development of our employees. We wish to be in a role where we could maintain the pace at which Europe and the global world are moving forward. We see it as essential to be closely connected to international partners who, with their activities and programs, also aim to create a more cohesive and interconnected society and to be active members of international professional networks. We submitted this project so that we, as representatives of the non-governmental and non-profit sector in the field of addiction, could face personal and professional challenges and changes in our work field.
