“Togetherness from Nature” is a project promoting community creation “off-line” in natural environment while practicing sustainability. It is designed by and for youth workers and young people they work with from 5 countries: Czech Republic, Ukraine, Serbia, Romania and Greece. Firstly, we are offering the nowadays unique experience of complete disconnection from online field and full connection to each other face to face, that becomes possible this way. Secondly, the project creates a ground for developing creativity, resourcefulness, productivity, time-management, organization skills, communication in a team or problem solving, all while living and creating a community base together in nature. The idea behind is to empower our participants for spreading what they have learned during our project in their youth groups by sharing the experience also via organizing a similar practical event. There young people can take part in changing their environment in a sustainable way, and thus experience the power of being involved and creating something that they can all use afterwards. Objectives: - to practice a method of working together in nature and with natural resources as a tool to involve young people into community creation -to support youth in connection via disconnection from on-line devices - to train attitudes of youth and youth workers towards sustainability - to develop a set of skills such as resourcefulness, productivity, time-management or problem solving -to use achieved practical learning directly in communities during the follow up -to bring change into organizations through educating of their workers in sustainability and resourcefulness Youth workers get practical tools to get youth involved into creating for community and themselves, and young people get a chance to experience what offline connection and team work in nature can bring. Inclusion of youth in community (and of less-opportunity especially), non-formal and intercultural environment and focus on a relevant topic of sustainability are links to E+ program.
