According to the survey of Health Institute, 300 people dies due to accidents. The health accidents occur 3000 disabled children aged 0-19 years old. Many research and foreign practices show that prevention helps to reduce the number of injuries. The idea of this training course "Safety, outside of the school system“ was designed in the training course „New way, new opportunity“. This training was attended by youth workers conducting out-of-school activities. It was these participants who pointed out the issue of training of personnel in the field of youth work safety. There are currently no comprehensive safety rules for out-of-school activities for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The course will provide a comprehensive guide to crisis situations, occupational safety and first aid. The aim of the course is to transfer and offer the training to the youth workers of knowledge and competencies in crisis intervention. After the training course, participants will be able to assess security risks in their activities. Participants will be familiarized with the principles and procedures of crisis management, basic procedures for first aid will be learned. After the training course, youth workers will be able to assess security risks in their activities and carry out an activities leading to the safety environment. Practical exercises will help participants to live up to the situation and apply knowledge with greater probability to practice. It is known that the earlier the victim gets help, the higher the chances of a happy ending. Participants will include their acquired/improved knowledge, information and competencies acquired to the Youthpass certificate. The project will be guided by non formal methods of education. Activities will be designed to the needs, knowledge, participants' information. Participants will come from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The training course will take place on the date of 6.7. - 13.7.2019 at Dolní Bečva. One of the main outputs will be a game / methodology aiming to teach students to prevent security risks. This game / methodology will be created by the project participants themselves who will further disseminate it in their activities (leisure activities, etc.). This game / methodology will be free to download on the blog. So anyone can use this project output to spread the idea of security prevention further. For each mobility, each of the involved organizations will be represented by four participants. The partner organizations will have the role of sending organization. Participants will come from other organizations without previous experience with Erasmus + and in rural (up to 2000 inhabitants) or small towns (up to 20,000 inhabitants). The need for the above-mentioned profile is due to the low awareness of Erasmus+ in the smaller rural areas and cities. Because of the lack of financial capacities, small organizations are often unable to provide comprehensive training in crisis management, first aid, to their staff, volunteers, external staff. Czechoslovak cooperation in this training course is justified in the form of an inclusive approach, providing opportunities for youth workers to participate with a language barrier.
