By implementing the project, we achieved the goals that reflected the needs of the school and that had been set in the ESI and in the School Long-Term Plan. These goals included: - increasing the number of participants and involvement of vocational students (EQF3) in the project, students with limited opportunities and gifted students (Article IV, § 2.1., ESI); - professional and personal growth of students to increase their competitiveness and, in the longer term, the competitiveness of the school (Article IV, § 2.1., ESI); - establishing and strengthening international cooperation (Article IV, § 2.2., ESI); - connecting the school with companies and improving the quality of the vocational education (Article III, ESI); - increasing students' linguistic and intercultural competences (Article IV, § 2.1., ESI); - use of ECVET principles to increase transparency and recognition of education obtained abroad (Article IV, § 4, ESI); - getting to know with new trends in engineering and other areas (Article III, ESI); - increasing the prestige of the involved organizations (Article III, ESI). Despite the problems during the pandemic situation and after Brexit, despite the change of the host country, all the goals were achieved.
We decided to apply for the project to continue and follow up on previous activities, ensure the collaboration between the school and companies, increase the number of mobilities and ensure competitiveness of our students, increase the quality of education at school and the process of transparency and recognition of the education obtained abroad. We had also set these goals in the application for the VET Charter and in our European Internationalization Strategy (ESI) and Action Plan. After successful internships in previous projects which had a huge impact on the participants and on the involved organizations, increased the prestige of the school and guaranteed the interest in studying at the school, the internships abroad have become an important and integral part of the life and activities of the school and the necessity required both by students and their parents. We also included the ErasmusPro activity in the project application, which as it was showed in the 2018 call, has a higher added value for students and guarantees an increase in participants´ employability. The expected impacts both on the participants and the organizations were fulfilled, that´s why we increased the number of long-term mobilities in this project.
