Goals: What goals did you want to achieve by the project’s realization? The main goal of the project was professional and personal development of the participating students to ease their transition to the first qualified job. Another goal, was also professional development of school staff (their language and professional competences). The project was planned to run for two years with a similar number of students participating each year. It was aimed mainly at English-speaking countries and towards various study programs, incl. healthcare. Unfortunately, structure of the programs and the dates of the trips had to be changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. And this didn’t affect only the students, but also made it impossible to arrange shadowing of two teachers of the medical school at a partner school in Germany.
Secondary Technical School, Business Academy and Secondary Medical School, Chomutov, is the key school in the educational system of region Ústí.Region. Our school improves the quality of education it provides with a support from international projects. So, a School Internationalization Strategy and an International Cooperation Plan has been created. This project was submitted to implement the goals set in these strategic documents. This project was focused on the acquisition of the professional knowledge of both pupils and teachers. Its goal was to help the participants be better equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the international labour market competition.
