By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve the following goals in various areas: 1) expand or improve students' practical knowledge and skills, provide them with a successful internship and recognize mandatory professional experience 2) for employees to expand their existing professional knowledge used in theoretical or practical teaching, contribute to their professional development and thereby make their teaching more efficient 3) maintain or increase the school's competitiveness on the secondary school market in the field of international cooperation and thus contribute to the good name of the school at the local or regional level 4) build on the very good cooperation with existing partners and expand the range of existing foreign receiving organizations by other suitable organizations
We decided to apply for this project for several reasons. Primarily, the main reason was to mediate and successfully implement professional internships for pupils and, now, also for school employees. In the case of pupils, we wanted to achieve an expansion of their knowledge, skills or competences. For school employees, we wanted to offer teaching staff the opportunity to expand their professional knowledge used in theoretical and practical teaching and thus enrich their teaching. One of the other, very important reasons for us, was the continuity of the projects of previous years and their connection with the following projects. A big role in this regard is played by long-term mutual relations with our existing project partners, who assume that our cooperation will develop every year and that it is not desirable to disrupt it. Among other things, a key element was to maintain the school's competitiveness on the secondary school market, an integral part of which is currently a wide range of high-quality foreign professional internships.
