The main goal of the project was arranging of quality special traineeships abroad for the secondary and apprentice school students, for the college students, for the graduates and also for the teachers in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The host organisation comprised agricultural enterprises, family farms, veterinary clinics, garden centres and companies, and school farms of the partner schools. The traineeships were supposed to deepen practical skills of the students. The participants were to compare their practical training experience obtained in the Czech Republic, to the experience obtained abroad. The goal was to enable them to meet and acquire new working methods, technologies, and equipment, get to know new technological and working procedures, compare conditions, differences, and farming methods in the host country and in the Czech Republic. The benefits included the improvement of language and personal competences. The teachers who participated in the project were expected to obtain personal experience in teaching special technical subjects and practical training in English language, share some teaching methods and implement new methods into teaching procedures at our school.
Practical education forms an integral part of the studies at our school.The traineeship abroad will follow on the practical training, and will also deepen the obtained skills and competences. The aim of the project is to arrange for our students the best quality traineeship, which will allow them to deepen their practical skills.The reason for the traineeship abroad realization is to enable the participants to get to know new technics, technologies,methods,working procedures, and environment, which are not available and common in Czechia.To ensure the quality we carefully choose such host organizations in which our aims will be fulfilled. Our school pays a great attention to teaching of both general and special English language.We gradually implement teaching of chosen special subjects in English.The participation in the traineeship abroad is a great opportunity to improve language competences and enlarge mainly a special word-stock.The work experience abroad will also strengthen some personal characteristics, such as independence,reliability, or adaptation to a new environment.The participants will be able to acquire positive knowledge and experience.As we aim to the development of special and language competences of teachers.
