There are four schools willing to start the partnership. They are from the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain and Turkey. In each school there is an enthusiastic team of teachers that will be responsible for its coordination. The schools from the Czech Republic and Poland have participated in an Erasmus+ multilateral international partnership before. For the schools from Spain and Turkey it will be new experience. The schools come from various cultural backgrounds, therefore, everybody involved in the project will have a unique opportunity to experience the life in those countries, share their mindset andl learn from another. Pupils involved in the project will be between 12 and 14 years of age. Participant will learn about cultural heritage of participating countries and nowadays life of the people there. Thanks to that we will raise cultural awareness. Another objective is to develop the ability to communicate in English. Throughout the project time, English will be the language of the partnership and all the activities will be done in English, therefore, the participants will have the opportunity to use it in meaningful and natural way. They will work on the tasks, cooperate with the peers from partner countries, they will host a pupil from partner school and some of them will be hosted in a partner country. Consequently, they will improve their communication skills. During the project time various methods, strategies and activities will be used. Activities will take place both in virtual space, mostly on the eTwinning platform and in real life situation in face-to-face contact at the project meetings. Activities will be related to the project topics. Before and during each meeting, one topic will be explored from various perspectives. Pupils will create presentations about their schools, cities and countries. They will search for important figures in their history that gave example to future generations by their acts. Students will record videos of ways people are greeted in each country and they will compare and contrast the observations. Moreover, activities will include trips to historical sites and countryside related to the project topics. They will also think about our common future, what will change and what can be done now to make the best of it. We aim to develop skills such as critical thinking, cooperation, communication, tolerance, presentation skills or respect. Planned methods include interview, discussion, peer teaching, researching, quiz, observation, CLIL and many IT techniques such as presentation, survey or video. Results made during the project will include presentations, posters, gallery, and programmes of political parties, quizzes, essays, recording of a concert and a booklet of teaching strategies. The results will be published online on the project web site and on the eTwinning profile. They will be available for pupils, parents, teachers and the public. The project will be beneficial for teachers and pedagogical staffs of the participating schools. They will observe different educational approaches or discuss methods and schooling system with colleagues from other European countries. Impact of the project will be mainly on the project participants who will have the opportunity to travel and host. There will be about 90 people who will travel to a partner school and about 70 pupils with their families that will host a visitor. However, many more will benefit from the project thanks to communication channels and meeting the visitors during project meetings.
