Background

The subject of Europe is of great importance for vocational schools. The European labor market offers our trainees interesting opportunities for professional orientation and further training. The contents of the lessons are: teaching common European values, promoting social integration, increasing intercultural understanding, strengthening the sense of belonging to a community and preventing violence and radicalization. It is important to us not only to show all European dimensions in the classroom, but also to offer them the possibility of mobility in other European countries in the form of internships. In addition, learning with digital media has increasingly found its way into the classroom, which is particularly necessary in the digital age, but also demands additional skills from the teachers. This relates to new teaching methods and materials as well as English language skills, which are increasingly required. That's why we wanted to enable mobility for our educational staff as a learning stay in Europe. Finally, we hoped that the project would lead to further development of project management and process management for our entire school.
