The economic impact of climate change on forestry is enormous. Growing extremes, flood problems, drought, fires and storms are causing major damage. This requires a paradigm shift, new forms of fire and water management, use of other tree species that are adapted to changing climatic conditions. The content must find its way into the training. The effects of demographic change can be felt in the skilled worker situation and in the ongoing emigration of young people from rural regions. There is a lack of trainees, especially in the trades. More young people with a migration background are being accepted, which the organizations have to adjust to. The value-added chain is to be strengthened locally in rural regions through innovative, creative work by the crafts companies. The qualification of personnel abroad, the international dialogue will contribute to the development in the regions at home and abroad. Actions have strengthened the partnership between the organizations collaborating in the internationalization of vocational training. We have made a contribution to the cross-border development of structurally weak regions
A regional consortium in vocational training (German-Hungarian Society in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania e.V. - project management; regional vocational training center of the district of Rostock; district craft trades association Rostock Bad Doberan has worked together for the third time to organize learning visits for 23 participants (vocational training staff) with 10 partner institutions from 5 countries and trainees) needs-based and to organize target groups specifically. The rapid changes in the economy, in the market, in the climate, in demographics and in society require special specialist, methodological and social skills, knowledge transfer and international networking in order to be able to cope with the requirements arising from the processes. Since the educational staff acts as a motivator in working with trainees and in the development of educational systems, companies, institutions, we attach particular importance to the qualification of trainers and teachers, those responsible for vocational training. In this way we develop and strengthen the companies; Organizations of the educational staff, as well as the cooperation of all institutions.
