Our goals of the project were: for learners: o to send learners on four-week learning visits. o trainees and students should experience the living and working environment in country-specific characteristics. In doing so, they actively expand their professional, linguistic and intercultural competences in an international context. They expand their professional options through new learning and working methods. They learn to organize themselves independently in a foreign environment, they experience the cultural characteristics of the target country, they reduce prejudices and develop empathy for other cultures. for teachers: o sending teachers on 5-day learning visits. o the teachers get to know education in an international context and expand their pedagogical, didactical and professional possibilities of action through the exchange with the teachers of the partner schools. They cultivate the partner network and get impulses for their own work. for the school: o expansion of our partner network and enrichment of the learning opportunities provided beyond the framework curricula. o international partnerships shape the character of our school as a school turned towards Europe
The European dimension plays an important role both in the vocational and the general school forms within the Theodor-Litt-Schule. Especially in the technical professions, which are seeing a very dynamic development, young people are expected to be able to act and articulate themselves on an international level, e.g. in international customer and supplier relationships, at company locations abroad or in interactions with international manufacturers of software and hardware. As an industrial-technical vocational school, we want to help young people prepare for these challenges in the best possible way. In order to achieve this, we engage in a wide range of international activities. The Erasmus+ program offers our learners the opportunity to gain direct and active international experience. Organizing educational processes and projects together in a network of international partners offers us many opportunities to create broad and rich learning environments as a basis for success in the student's learning, which expands their future options. The Theodor-Litt-School wants to contribute to inspiring young people for the European idea. Therefore, we would like to continue this program and expand it with new partners.
