In our application we defined the following objectives for our Erasmus+ project: 1 Improve professional, linguistic and intercultural competences among staff and learners. 2 Improve teaching methods in general and with regard to dealing with cultural diversity and inclusion in the classroom among teachers. 3 Building sustainable transnational cooperation at school level. 4 Improve employability and study skills of learners and support them individually through tailor-made work placements and language preparation. 5 Promote foreign language learning, intercultural learning and the European idea among teachers and learners 6 Promote quality development and internationalisation at school level
Our project goals were derived from our pedagogical principles, including in particular practical relevance in education, openness, individual promotion as well as promotion of social, professional and personal competence. Furthermore, we wanted to continuously improve the quality of our pedagogical work and strengthen our school profile. Internships and educational visits abroad were intended to promote our learners and teachers individually and, at the level of teaching staff, to improve the quality of education in our institution in terms of content, didactics and methodology. We also carried out stays abroad for learners and teaching staff with the aim of building an internationalisation profile as an educational institution by intensifying cooperation with other European educational institutions. By sending teachers and learners to other European countries, we also wanted to broaden the perspective beyond our own national and personal horizons and, through our project, contribute a little to strengthening European cohesion by experiencing Europe as a living space of cultural diversity and liberal democracy.
